In February 2019, I was contacted by an advertising agency who where working with Peoples Ford to create a new advert for Television.
The theme of the advert was that if you treat your customers right, they will return in the future! It began set in the 1980s, where a young man in his late 20s is buying his first car, the salesman helps him through the process. The car buyer then returns in the 1990s when he is 10 years older, then again in another 10 years in the 2000s when he is in his 50s, to buy another car more suited to his lifestyle. The advert then ends with the car buyer and salesman both in the present day, now in their late 60s, where the gentlemen enter the new Ford Mustang, which the car buyer can now afford to purchase, and the salesman has kept the same customer for over 30 years.
To create these looks I used a combination of ordinary TV make-up, powders, pencils, as well as specialist products such as latex, Illustrator palettes, Supracolour palettes and Sculpt Gel. If you would like to watch the video, I have included a link just below here, as well as some pictures of the process at the bottom of the page.
